Different Wood Species for Your Cabinet Doors
When our custom stains are laid onto natural wood cabinets, you’ll be able to see the beautiful natural variations present in the wood. Stain finishes can have minor color and grain variation between the doors. This allows the natural aspects of the wood to speak for itself. This gives you more creativity since the type of wood you select will change the resulting look of the finished cabinets. We currently stock select maple, paint grade maple, cherry, select alder, rustic alder, hickory, and sapele. Move your mouse pointer over the image to see the wood species name.
Custom Stains & Tinted Lacquer Finishes For Your Cabinet Doors
Our stains will never hide the natural beauty of our wood doors. Our custom stains are specifically created to work with the excellent wood species and cabinet doors we offer and will help add to their appeal. We only hand apply stains. It’s this traditional method of application that prevents your cabinets from having a “painted on” look. This is a selection of our custom stains. Hover over the image to see the custom stain name.
We blend a top coat with pigments when creating our tinted lacquer. This results in a pleasing look that has a durable and long-lasting finish. It can also be maintained and cleaned if needed. We use Paint Grade Maple for all Tinted Lacquer finishes. This is a selection of our Tinted Lacquers. Hover over the image to see the door style name.
Custom Glazes for Your Cabinet Doors
Our glazes are applied wet over the entire door, left to dry and then wiped back off as a powder. Our craftsmen inspect each door individually to ensure that the proper design is created. We always administer glaze by hand. When the glaze process is done, our staff applies a clear top coat. This coat will keep the look intact well into the future. This is a selection of our custom glazes. Hover over the image to see the door style name.
